How to Contribute to Confederate Memorial Park

We have raised $5,163 towards Phase IV.

The state of Virginia is in the lead with a total of 153 contributors.

North Carolina is in second place with 104 contributors.

Maryland is in third place with 95 contributors.

 

The largest organization contributor is the
National Sons of Confederate Veterans!

Please help this dream become a reality! The sole purpose of CMP is to honor the over 52,000 imprisoned in PL and the over 14K who died there..military/civilian, men/women/children of all races. This will be done by erecting a POW statue, state flags, native state trees/flowers, memorial benches, flood lights, etc. You can help in the following ways:

  1. Any contribution in any amount is appreciative. We’ll add your name and state to the web page. Help your state to take the lead! Make your checks payable to Confederate Memorial Park, Inc. and mail to Frank Towberman, Treasurer, P.O. Box 337, Claremont, VA 23899-0337.

  2. Purchase a Southern CD. All songs written and/or sung in the memory of Pt. Lookout POWs by Wade Harris and Robert Lloyd. Click Here for more information and an Order Form.

  3. Anyone who donates $200.00 or more and would like to own one the Confederate Battle Flags now flying in Confederate Memorial Park, make your checks payable to CMPI and mail to 1214 Moyer Rd., Newport News, VA 23608. Be sure to include your name/address/email and in whose memory you're making your donation. This info will be used on the certificate accompanying the flag!

  4. Those who would like to sign up to purchase one of the CSA flag poles, native state trees, memorial benches, or flood lights, a small plaque with your name as the donor will be attached to the item. You do not send payment now.

  5. If you are a business company and need a tax write off....we’re it! Our CMPI is a non profit incorporation and we can furnish you with a letter or receipt. Please use address stated in #1.
